Spurling Silver: Make a Wall, Ezekiel 22

It is a kairos moment, by the hand of Providence, that our journey through Ezekiel finds us in chapter 22. Where the sins of the nation of Judah are exposed, echoing all the way to today, while our Senate exposes what appears to be the national sins of a mass murdering mad scientist.

Only, with God, there is no pleading the fifth.

Charges are made.

Judgement is rendered.

But then, the Judge, pauses, to reveal His heartfelt search for a possible pardon (verse 30).

Finding none.

Justice is served.

HIStory reveals it happened, exactly as He said.

His Word echoes today, declaring, it is happening again.

Only those who are listening will be ready.

Ezekiel 22:1
Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

Notice, Ezekiel speaks, the word of the Lord, not the word of Ezekiel.

Whoever speaks for the Lord must speak the words of the Lord.

Folks do NOT need to hear the words of man but God.

John 12:21. We would see Jesus.

²“Now, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Yes, show her all her abominations!

Literally: You son of man, judge, judge, the city of bloodshed to know all her abominations.

Judge Jerusalem, the city of bloodshed, by exposing all her abominations.

Ephesians 5:11. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

So, with that, the Lord through Ezekiel, exposes all her abominations. We will expose our abominations.

³Then say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “The city sheds blood in her own midst, that her time may come; and she makes idols within herself to defile herself. ⁴You have become guilty by the blood which you have shed, and have defiled yourself with the idols which you have made. You have caused your days to draw near, and have come to the end of your years;

Abortion.

The city sheds her own blood. They offered their own babies to the demon molech, known today as abortion.

She makes idols within herself to defile herself. She worships self—my body my choice—and thereby defiles herself, to her own demise.

We are literally, killing ourselves every 28 seconds.

therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mockery to all countries. ⁵Those near and those far from you will mock you as infamous and full of tumult.

Debased mind and strong delusion. Rom. 1:28, 2 Thes. 2:11.

The city where the Twin Towers tumbled by Islamic terrorists, is now run by muslim marxist mayor mamdani, who mocks America’s Christ centered Judeo Christian Biblical foundation.

You rejected God’s guidance and went after your own gods, your own lusts, your own lovers... “therefore I have made you a reproach... a mockery.”

So, God gave you what you wanted. Absence from Him.

His peace that gives soundness of mind, no longer fills you.

His wisdom that blesses everything you set your hand to, no longer speaks to you.

Without His help, you are a stupid fool.

Romans 1:28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting.

2 Thessalonians 2:11. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie.

⁶“Look, the princes of Israel: each one has used his power to shed blood in you.

Murder.

Princes (government elite) use power to get away with murder.

⁷In you they have made light of father and mother;

Dismantle Family.

Undermine God’s Divine design for marriage and the family structure.

Vilify masculinity.

Discredit Biblical definition of marriage.

Government overreach into parental rights.

Propagate Planned Parenthood, (planned murderhood).

⁷...in your midst they have oppressed the stranger; in you they have mistreated the fatherless and the widow.

Trafficking.

Open borders not only crush our economy, corrupt our elections, create skyrocketing crime, it facilitates the vile sin of human trafficking, child sex trafficking, slave labor and sex slaves.

Lord, we pray for expedient justice against the vile animals involved in such wickedness.

⁸You have despised My holy things and profaned My Sabbaths. ⁹In you are men who slander to cause bloodshed; in you are those who eat on the mountains;

¹³“Behold, therefore, I beat My fists at the dishonest profit which you have made, and at the bloodshed which has been in your midst. ¹⁴Can your heart endure, or can your hands remain strong, in the days when I shall deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and will do it. ¹⁵I will scatter you among the nations, disperse you throughout the countries, and remove your filthiness completely from you. ¹⁶You shall defile yourself in the sight of the nations; then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ ”

Peek into hell

¹⁷The word of the Lord came to me, saying, ¹⁸“Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me; they are all bronze, tin, iron, and lead, in the midst of a furnace; they have become dross from silver. ¹⁹Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of JerUSAlem. ²⁰As men gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there and melt you. ²¹Yes, I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst. ²²As silver is melted in the midst of a furnace, so shall you be melted in its midst; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have poured out My fury on you.’ ”

Dross: worthless scum skimmed off the top of melted metal.

God wants the fiery trials to purify US, as silver and gold, as His royal priesthood, holy nation. 1 Peter 2:9.

But rejecting Him we become worthless dross.

As Goes The Church

²³And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, ²⁴“Son of man, say to her: ‘You are a land that is not cleansed or rained on in the day of indignation.’ ²⁵The conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing the prey; they have devoured people; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst. ²⁶Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. ²⁷Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain. ²⁸Her prophets plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord had not spoken. ²⁹The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger.

Society is downstream of the Church.

The prophets were corrupted by power, the priests turned from the Truth, and it wasn’t long until the princes (government) followed them, as did the people.

Thus, the fall of the nation was resultant of the fall of the Church.

Judgement must begin at the house of God. 1 Peter 4:17.

Therefore, God searches the Churches for someone...

³⁰So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. ³¹Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.

The Lord is looking for one, someone, anyone who will make a wall.

Will you?

Somebody willing to stand in the gap, to pray for the nation.

Are you?

Like Abraham interceded for sinful Sodom. Gen. 18:22-33.

Like Moses prayed for wicked Israel. Ex. 32, Ps. 106:23.

Will you make a wall?

Will you stand in the gap?

Will you stand against evil and say:

“Not on my watch! You will NOT dismantle my family, pervert my children, burn down my city, enslave my nation. With the help of God, I will be the wall. As for me and my house, and all those God has given me, we stand united and strong under the shadow of the Almighty!”

The Lord is searching.

He is asking, “Whom shall I send?”

Will you be like Isaiah and say:

“Here am I! Send me.”

Isaiah 6:8.

Let’s pray.

Dear Lord God Almighty. Here we are. You see those of US willing to stand in the gap, to be the wall, to stand against evil, to speak Truth. With You that is more than enough. We deserve hell, but ask, Lord God, for mercy. Don't let the other nations see that this nation that has written on every piece of money, “In God we trust.” Don't let that fall. Don't let us become a mockery. Please don't let the rest of the world say, "See, God could not deliver them." Lord, please give US another chance. Stir up the fire within us so we don't land in the fire but have this burning fire within us so that we stand up and speak up, bold enough to be the people you've called us to be. Not the dross, but the silver and the gold and the salt and the light, being soul winners and disciple makers. So that this nation will not perish from the earth.
