That All May Know (powerful conclusion), Joshua 4:19-24

19 Now the people came up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and they camped in Gilgal on the east border of Jericho.

They finally crossed the Jordan, and the first thing God has them do is…

mark the calendar. The tenth day of the first month.

We do the same thing. My granddaughter just walked in, “Papa, do you want to come to my house Friday.”

“Why?”

“It’s my birthday. I’ll be twelve.”

See? We mark the calendar too, so we can remember special days.

There was something special about the tenth day of the first month, long before they crossed the Jordan.

Exactly, to the day, forty years prior, they were still in Egypt. Slaves. But on this very day forty years earlier, God told them, get ready, get a lamb, for in four days, you’re going to eat and run.

And they did. Four days later, after the very first Passover meal, they left the land, full and free.

Now, here they are by God’s Divine Timing; and in four days from passing over the Jordan, they will once again, remember the Passover celebration.

Coincidence? Or, Providence? We don’t have enough faith, to believe, this was just coincidence.

20 And those twelve stones which they took out of the Jordan, Joshua set up in Gilgal.

Remember the stones?

The ones carried on the shoulder by the boulder toters? Here they are, in their new home, a mark on the calendar, set in stone.

Literally.

21 Then he spoke to the children of Israel, saying: “When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, ‘What are these stones?’

Notice, they set up a situation, to trigger a question, so, they could give an answer.

Like the rancher who gave a standing invitation for his ranch hands, to come to the main house, for Sunday Church. Which was simply the ranch owner and his wife, sitting at the kitchen table reading the Bible, saying a prayer, and having a meal.

None of the cowboys ever went.

Until one Sunday morning, the oldest cowboy, was standing outside the bunkhouse, just staring at the main house.

One of the younger cowhands scoffed at the older.  “You ain’t thinkin’ a goin’ to Church are ya?”

The weathered old cowboy didn’t blink, just stared at the house, “If believin’ the way they does, makes ‘em the way they is—reckon it ‘bides lookin’ in ta”

Before it was over, the old cowboy was sitting at the table, tears in his eyes, getting to know his Maker.

It wasn’t long until the table was full of cowboys with calloused hands, and tender hearts.

I wanna live like that.

22 then you shall let your children know, saying, ‘Israel crossed over this Jordan on dry land’; 23 for the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over,

Israel is a nation. America is a nation. Blessed is the nation, whose God is the LORD. Psalm 33:12.

The nation was never to forget their Godly heritage. Never to erase HIStory.

Notice, it’s the families, the fathers, who have the honor, the responsibility, to teach the children; not the education system, not the state, not google, not television.

The demonic aim of the abortion industry is to destroy the Devine design of families, which is the foundation of nations. (Making money is just the carrot dangled in front of the deceived.)

Removing the teaching of God’s Word and prayer, from schools, is direct rebellion against God.

Separation of Church and state, is an unconstitutional, diabolical, lie from the pits of hell.

Now, we admit that government should not force any particular religion.

However, they lost their minds when they lost their God, and couldn’t (or wouldn’t) discern the difference between, religion and relationship.

You see, Christianity is not religion. It’s obedience to the real King, Ruler, Owner, of the Universe.

You don’t get to come into my house, and tell me to get out. Tell my children not to talk about me, tell my wife to sit down and shut up and obey your rules.

That would really tick me off.

God has a LOT of patience. I’d be kicking you off my planet in a nanosecond.

Separation of Church and state, is a perverted, corrupted, invention, of something that was never there, and never meant to be.

24 that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty, that you may fear the Lord your God forever.”

Let us be about our Father’s business; memory makers, that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty, that you may fear the LORD your God, forever, and ever, amen.

Remember, we love you,

most importantly,

Jesus loves you.
