It’s just a little town, Wilmore Kentucky; under seven thousand folks. Of those, about seventeen hundred are college kids at Asbury University.
It’s only been about two weeks, since
the little chapel service ended; or, tried to end.
A remnant stayed. And prayed.
They came like the masses made their way to the insect eating man they called the Baptist.
Without fanfare, preparation, or promotion, they came.
By the thousands, over twenty-thousand have flocked to the little town.
Yes, there are those who came for gain, others for ill, some in pretense, but most drawn by a hunger for Jesus Christ.
This current hunger, mirrors that which
preceded Christ’s first appearing. Now, the aroma of His return is so near, spiritual
stomachs are growling.
The timing is telling. Some will call
it coincidence; however, we just might see the better word is Providence.
2.23.50 Revival at Asbury University
2.3.70 Another Revival at Asbury
University
2.8.23 The current Chapel that didn’t
end continues.
The flames from Asbury spread to
colleges in Tennessee and Ohio…
2.12.23 Two commercials about Jesus,
aired during the Superbowl. (That’s 100 million dollars’ worth of ads, to 113
million viewers).
2.15.23 During our Wednesday Bible
Study, I witnessed two ladies simultaneously close their eyes and raise their
hands as if Jesus showed up and they stepped into the Holy of Holies. Due to
where they were seated, they couldn’t see each other. Furthermore, our Snowbird
Saturated congregation is from many different denominational backgrounds, the
least of which is charismatic, thus, this wasn’t exactly customary behavior. After
the service, a couple of couples, seated together just stayed in their seats. One
of the men said, “We’re just going to stay until the next service.” The next
service was four days away, on Sunday.
All I could think was, wow—this must
be the stuff revivals are made of.
2.22.23 – The early screening of the movie,
“Jesus Revolution” will show in theatres across the nation. It’s about a powerful
move of God from the early 70s that changed the trajectory of our nation, and still
impacts it today.
2.23.23 – Is the 200th year
anniversary of the Collegiate Day of Prayer

2.24.23 – Movie “Jesus Revolution”,
official premiere.
Speaking of
timing, we interrupt this message for a special report:
The earth is still mourning some fifty-thousand
deaths from recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. And right now,
this very moment as I’m writing, reports are popping up on my screen
that read:
“Strong
earthquake was felt in Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and Israel”
“WOW!!
Reports that the earthquake was felt in Egypt as well!”
“following
the earthquake: A tsunami warning was activated in Turkey, Greece, France and
Italy!”
The ink isn’t even dry on those reports
and more are coming in; but there’s something else we need to look at on the
opposite end of the revival spectrum.
The rival.
The Abrahamic Family House.
Last week, on Thursday 2.17.23, the United Arab Emirates, inaugurated the, Abrahamic Family House.
It's a religious complex containing a church, a synagogue, and a mosque, in the UAE’s capital Abu Dhabi. Beside each structure stands a tall pillar illuminating an Islamic crescent, Christian cross and a Jewish menorah, respectively.
Reportedly, shining a hopeful light for interfaith tolerance and understanding.
The perfect ruse to use as a catalyst for the antichrist’s mantra. Coexist with peace and safety, unity, one mind, one tongue, one world religion and government.
The Moses Ben Maimon Synagogue held its first Shabbat services 2.17.23. The complex as a whole will be open to the public 3.1.23.
The UAE’s President Sheikh Mohammed
bin Zayed credited the opening of the first purpose-built synagogue in the UAE
to the country’s history of diversity.
Dear friends, it’s high time to wake
up and shake off, everything that rivals, the revival, God wants to do, in you.
We’re at an intersection in HIStory. Which
road do you choose? Revival or Rival?
“Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being
shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may
remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be
shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with
reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming
fire.
Hebrews 12:26-29.
