Israel, hamas, US & End Time Prophecy

 If you want to know the past, or the future, look at God’s calendar—the Bible.

If you want to know the time, look at God’s clock—Israel.

When purchasing our tickets online, our seats were automatically assigned (7C, 7D) two aisle seats, directly across from each other. I’d never seen that before. Normally I’d select the seats for a fee, or they’d be assigned upon check in at the airport.

Now looking back, perhaps there was a little Divine intervention.

Roxy’s seat was next to another lady named Roxy. My Roxy kept the other Roxy from having an all-out, I’ve got to get off the plane right now panic attack… and we hadn’t even left the gate. Folks were still loading, she was hyper ventilating, freaking. My Roxy started talking to her, offered to trade her seats so she could sit in the aisle and have more room to breathe. I don’t know how but before you knew it, they were laughing and giggling like long lost sisters. The Roxy sisters.  

Now, before we ever boarded the plane I said to my Roxy, “I pray I sit by that lovely Jewish family.”

It was obvious they were Jewish—the kippah gave it away. And the tassels hanging from his belt.

It was obvious what they’d been doing; celebrating Sukkot. The lulav gave it away (I didn’t see the lemon like fruit—the etrog).

Lulav is a palm, myrtle and willow branch bound together—different species, united as one.  It is used during the celebration of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles; Leviticus 23:33-43. Feast of Ingathering” Exodus 23:16; Deuteronomy 16:13). Tradition says it symbolizes their diversity, yet unity as one nation.

The mom, dad and baby, sat next to me. They giggled and played with their toddler. He was one, their only child, they hope for more—"but that’s up to Him” the young dad, Joshua, told me.

They’d celebrated Sukkot for five days in the warmth of Florida, but were returning home, to Minnesota, for the last two days.

This year, in Tel Aviv, Israel, on the last day of the feast, an argument broke out over segregation during prayer, and their various religious opinions.

All week Israel remembered God’s provision and protection through the wilderness wanderings and celebrated their diversity yet unity—only to wind up fighting over the religion that brought them together.

Little did they know that within hours none of that would matter.

None of us knew what was about to happen.

Back on the plane; before my new found Jewish friends and I parted ways I prayed for them. That the Lord would give them a quiver full of kids and bless and keep and shine upon them and give them His peace. Numbers 6:24-26.

That was Thursday around noon, October 5^th 2023.

Within the next twenty-four hours or so, I think I whispered a little prayer for them, and Israel; but nothing more than that.

I had things to do, family to see, a grandson to meet.

But now looking back I see God’s fingerprint.

The seats being automatically assigned when I purchased the tickets online.

My little, I wanna sit by the lovely Jewish family, prayer.

The still small Voice whispering over the roar of the plane.

While Joshua and I talked, we covered lots of topics. We even opened my Bible and searched Scripture together, a Christian and a Jew.  We talked about everything… except the One I wanted to talk about. Jesus. I wanted to ask how he felt about Jesus. I wanted to see if he could see, Jesus, as his Messiah. But it seemed like whenever I was about to bring Him into the conversation, something would happen. The baby would cry, or need attention, or, their mom or stewardess or…? And then, it was too late. The flight was over.  

It gnaws at me now, considering that within a couple days Joshua was quite possibly on another plane headed to Israel, to defend his homeland.

Heavenly Father, don’t let us ever miss a moment to share Jesus. We pray Joshua and family will come to know You as their Messiah, Savior, and Lord; and that one day we’ll get to hear him tell us all about it on the streets of gold.

The next day, Friday, Israel noticed some unusual activity across the Gaza border. A few phone calls were made, but they didn’t take it seriously enough to send it up the chain of command.

Early the next morning Saturday (Shabot, Sabbath) October 7^th much of Israel was sleeping in. It’d been a long week full of Sukkot activity, it was Sabbath, a day of rest.

At 6:30 a.m. Israel time, several rockets were launched from Gaza into Israel. Simultaneously, mortars shot closer to Gaza border. At the same time snipers shot out the border cameras. One hundred and forty bomb dropping drones attacked border patrol command centers that watch the cameras.

In a matter of minutes, hamas terrorists effectively knocked out the eyes and ears of Israel/Gaza border.  

The border fence was breached by explosives in fifteen different places, and the attack was on.

Thousands of machine gun wielding terrorists entered Israel on various land vehicles, some on motorcycles, others flew in on paragliders.

They all had one demonic goal. Kill, steal, destroy (that’s putting it nicely).

They had detailed maps of towns and communities, and information about the Supernova Sukkot Gathering, a music festival which had about 3,500 young people from fifteen different countries.

The terrorists quickly slaughtered any soldiers that survived the drone bombings.

They went house to house raping, torturing, burning alive, more than a thousand civilians.

They surrounded the music festival mass murdered 260 youth. Many girls were raped repeatedly. It was part of their vile mission—to make the girls unclean, to “whore” them. Then, the girls were killed, or taken captive back to Gaza.

The carnage reveals dismembered bodies. Families were tied up, forced to watch children be tortured. Forty babies were found bloody, murdered, some beheaded.

Palestinian civilians from Gaza joined the terrorist in this wickedness. We know this because they recorded their own atrocities on TikTok.

In just a few hours, some 2,000 blood thirsty devils, swarmed that small area.

The Israeli forces were caught totally off guard. When the rockets were heard, they assumed, like in times past, that it was a diversion in the south to cover something bigger in the north, so they headed north instead of south; costing priceless lives and precious time.

When rescue workers finally arrived, the carnage was so horrific, they threw up—repeatedly.

So far, 1,400 dead; 300 abducted; many still missing. Those abducted include, babies, children, elderly ladies. These monsters are cowards.

It’s awful, and we don’t want to talk about it, or see it, but the raw Truth must be told to wake US from our selfish, apathetic, lukewarm, slumber.

Evil is ugly, and too many Americans who call themselves Christians have gotten cozy, compromising with sin, with evil. Let this be a wake-up call to the vile monster you’re sleeping with.

We pray the eyes of our government officials recognize the treasonous venom spewing from Jew hating, hamas supporting folks like, AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib…

If we don’t, we’re doomed. A house divide cannot stand.

Why do we need to address this ugly issue?

So, we’re not deceived.

One of the first things Jesus said when addressing the end times.

Matthew 24:4. See to it that no one deceives you.

The lying narratives about what happened are already being spun, to paint Israel as the aggressor.

Israel was caught sleeping, but they’re awake now, and hamas is shaking, saying, “I think we awoke a sleeping giant.”

America’s USS Gerald R. Ford, strike group the world’s largest aircraft carrier, armed with about 110 Tomahawk cruise missiles, and its accompanying ships, some of which have nuclear capabilities, have arrived in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea to support Israel.

A second one is on the way; the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower should arrive in Israel by the end of the month.

Alright already Doug, you’re a preacher, not a news channel, so why are we doing this?

Because, it has to do with God’s prophetic timepiece—Israel.

What’s happening over there, thousands of miles away, is setting the stage for the curtain to open on what was prophesied thousands of years ago.

The stage is set. The alarm clock is ringing. Are we awake?

Now, let’s dig a little deeper, and then wrap this up.

On Sudays we’ve been walking through Genesis. For the past few weeks, we’ve been hanging out with Noah, and recently floated through Noah’s flood.

Do you know what hamas called their violent operation? Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Speaking of violence, and Noah’s flood, do you know what hamas means?

The politically correct answer is that hamas is an Arabic acronym for the Islamic Resistance Movement. The terror group was established in 1987. However, unbeknownst to them, the word, in Hebrew, in the Bible, has been around for thousands of years.

Providentially, and prophetically, it is first mentioned as one of the reasons for Noah’s flood.

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So, God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Genesis 6:11-13.

Violence:

Definition: violence, wrong, malicious

The word for violence in Hebrew is: hamas.

The first mention of hamas in the Bible is when God warned that judgement was about to flood the whole earth. Genesis 6:11-13.

Genesis sets the trajectory for eternity. It’s foundational. It doesn’t only tell what did happen, but tells what will happen.  

Did you know that Israel found documents written a year ago, detailing this attack? That means, it was well over a year in the making.

Remember, it wasn’t so long ago that hamas was throwing bricks and stones and incendiary balloons. 

This operation has the stench of Russian involvement.

Israel’s Iron Dome Missile Defense System, seems to have malfunctioned—this would take highly sophisticated technology to hack. 

The bomb dropping drones and paragliders are characteristic of Russian equipment and attack strategy.

The trajectory for a Russian confrontation with Israel keeps getting clearer. Which is exactly what God told us will happen. Ezekiel 38-39.

Reportedly from Amir Tsarfati Telegram Channel: 

Rebecca Koffler, a former US Department of Defense intelligence officer and Russia expert, said she has solid evidence of Moscow officials being involved in Hamas' terrorist attacks on Israel. She said she is still working through all the details, but will release an official report on Fox News on Monday (10/16/23) that will reveal all the details.

Rebecca said that the Kremlin is satisfied with the results of the attacks. Just a few days ago, a senior Hamas official, Ali Baraka, told a Russian state TV channel that the attack had been secretly planned for two years. Only Hamas partners and high-ranking terrorists knew about it. It is the precise planning that succeeded in blinding Israel's military and intelligence forces.

Shortly after the attack, officials in Moscow called their counterparts in the Hamas terror group and thanked them for an excellent operation that distracted the world from Ukraine.

This cooperation is a strong indication of the change in Putin's operating patterns and support for Hamas.

Additionally:

To help fund this horrific attack Hamas and Islamic Jihad received 93 million dollars from the Garantex cryptocurrency exchange in Moscow, according to a Wall Street Journal investigation.

Why is this important?

Ezekiel 38-39, tells of a coming war. The timing is around the threshold of the rapture. Some say before, some say just after.

Russia (with hooks in his jaw, Ez. 38:4) leads the way with a coalition of nations.

But God saves Israel in such a powerful way that it will take seven months to bury the dead, and seven years to dispose of the weapons. Ezekiel 39:9, 12.

This is NOT the Ezekiel war, but it’s setting the stage for it.

During the Ezekiel 38-39 war, Israel will stand alone. No other nation—not even America, will stand with her.

Nations will attack Israel in Ezekiel 38-39 war. Currently, Israel is at war with terrorists, not nations. (Although, Iran and Russia, are behind the scenes, funding and training their proxy terrorists).

It is believed that Damascus (capital of Syria) will be a ruinous heap before the Ezekiel war. Isaiah 17:1. (Note: immediately after this message was given, there were reports of Iran sending multiple military forces to, Damascus).

Israel’s not the only one speaking—so is the sky.

The day before giving this message there was a “Ring of Fire” solar eclipse (10/14/23).

Jesus tells us at the end of this age there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and on earth destress of nations. Luke 21:25-28

The sky declares the signs of the times. Genesis 1:14. Psalm 19:1.

Some Bible teachers say a solar eclipse is a sign with the Sun representing the nations of the earth, and the moon, representing Israel.

As far as focus is concerned, Israel has eclipsed all the nations of the earth.

Now, in conclusion, consider how Israel has dropped a million or more flyers, made calls and multiple contact attempts, via various venues; to warn Gaza that they’re coming and to advise them how to escape.

God has done the same via His Word, His prophets, and preachers and people.

Israel, His alarm clock, is ringing loud and clear.

Are we awake?

Are we listening?

 

Let’s pray.

Heavenly Father, thank You for this honor to bow before You, here and now, in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we pray You’ll search our hearts, if there be any wicked way in us, reveal it to us, remove it from us, cause us to abhor that which is evil.

Will You create an urgency in us, so we won’t procrastinate until the flight is over, but will wisely, and lovingly, yet urgently, share Jesus with everyone You give us.

Prepare their hearts to hear, and our mouths to speak. We pray for Your Presence to be so strong in us, that You shine through us, lighting the Way for others to see You.

Lord, we love You, forever.

Amen.
