This may be a Dear John letter... and it should be
read immediately.
For the past few months I’ve been doing some online
research mostly at a website called, Torah Calendar. It’s quite in-depth. But, to make a long story short I submit to you
their findings in a nutshell: God’s plan of redemption is 7000 years. They show
a seven thousand year calendar from Creation to the Great White Throne
Judgment.
They have determined specific dates using technology
that reads the sky like a clock. NASA will agree the sky is a giant clock—and
map. Sailors used the stars to navigate for centuries.
The Hebrew calendar is built around reading the sky.
The sun and moon are for signs and for seasons, just as God said in
Genesis.
They go to great lengths to explain their
conclusions. One big event, no, one HUGE event is about to happen. Sundown in
Israel on September 14th to sundown on the 15th (because
Hebrew days are sunset to sunset) is the last day of the sixth month (Elul) and
the last day of 6000 years. The next day, September 15th – 16th
(1st of Tishrei) is The Day of Trumpets, Rosh
Hashanah, The Civil New Year and according to Creation Calendar, The Age of
Life begins with The Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And thus begins the last
millenium before the Great White Throne Judgement.
It’s a big day.
I fully
intend to be at that wedding feast. Yeehaw and yum yum.
But hold
on a second, wait a cotton pickin’ minute...
Didn’t
Jesus say no man knows the day or the hour?
I spent a
good deal of time reading their explanation for date setting and they make a
valid argument that believers are called to watch and pray and read and know
the signs of the times, so they will not be taken unawares. And, for the first
time in a lifetime of listening to preachers, I’ve heard sermons that claim,
perhaps, we who are paying attention will know the time of His imminent return.
Regarding
the, no man knows the day or hour statement—it was actually a clue. You see,
the Jewish calendar isn’t like ours. It floats with the sky. And the month would
begin at the first sighting of the new moon. And since no man knows the day or
hour when that will be until it happens, it was an excellent description of the
first of the month.
The
Jewish Holy Days clearly pointed to Jesus and foreshadowed things to come to
the exact pattern and day.
Jesus
died on Passover, rose on First Fruits and then the disciples were filled with
the Holy Spirit on The Day of Pentecost.
Next is The Day of Trumpets in which a series of signals are
blown on the Shofar. The last trump is the sound of the Shofar Gedolah or the
Great Trumpet. It is mentioned in Isaiah 27:13. This is the last sound that is
played on Rosh Hashanah and also the last trumpet blown on the Day of
Atonement. Rabbis believe that this is the trumpet blast that heralds in the
coming of Messiah.
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all
sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1
Corinthians 15:51-52
As I
write this millions of homeless refugees are fleeing wars and rumors of wars, our
government pays abortionists to dissect millions of babies and sell their body
parts. Their blood cries out from the earth. Sexual immorality is encouraged by
our legal system and dissenters are punished. America’s leaders stab their
greatest ally, Israel, in the back to make nuclear deals with the devil. The
Pope is scheduled to visit just after the fourth blood moon with a plan for the
New World Order…perhaps a seven year ‘peace’ plan.
And
listen to this. As we waved flags and vowed to never forget 911, the rains let
up and a double rainbow floated where fourteen years prior, twin towers stood. A
beautiful sign God gave Noah to say He’d never destroy the earth with a flood.
Perhaps it was God’s way of saying, He never forgets. Or a warning to us, that
He did destroy the earth once because of its wickedness. The very sign of His
warning and promise is now used to represent perversion. We’d do well to
remember His words, “As in the days of Noah so shall the coming of the Son of
Man be.”
Across
the water, while flags of 911 remembrances were still waving in New York, a
lightning bolt caused a crane owned by Saudi Binladin Group to collapse at the
Grand Mosque in Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
At least 107 people were killed and at least 238 others were injured. Pools
of blood, dead bodies and rubble littered the polished tile floors of Islam’s
most holy site as soot covered survivors ran for cover.
As for
me, I think, for those who’ll unstop their ears—God's Voice is loud and clear.
One would
have to be in denial or deceived not to see the world is spiraling out of
control. Any attempts to pull out of the nosedive are called hateful and
intolerant.
We have very
little time.
Whether
one day or a hundred years…life here is a vapor.
I’ve said
all that to say this.
I love
you. I want us to have more time together. As long as you have breath, it’s not
too late.
But…
If The
Trumpet blows, sometime between the sunsets, on The Day of Trumpets and the
dead in Christ are raised and we who are alive and remain are caught up to meet
them in the air, I hope, and pray you are there.
If not…
I may
never see you again.
You see,
in this matter, when it comes to eternal Life, God is pro-choice. He lets you
choose. “Today I set before you life and
death—” And just so there is no room for doubt, He lets you know His choice
for you— “choose life.” Deuteronomy 30:19.
So, this
may be, see ya later…or good bye.
You
decide.
Prayerfully
yours,

man knows the day – this is a fascinating

Doug...I'm with you in this trip out of here (come quickly Jesus)
It helps to read information like this. We need to keep our lamps trimmed. We don't know, but I want to be ready. God will not tarry forever.
