If I Should Die Before I Wake

We finally broke the barrier, we had to see more than faces on a screen, touch more than a keyboard.

It was Mother’s Day.

We hugged and kissed and laughed and played and mom and grandma blew out a million candles on a cake, spewing germs all over the place…we ate the cake.

The whole time I was thinking; it was like we'd been dreaming. Now, it’s time to wake up. Get back to living. Not just surviving. But living.

We survived. 

It’s been days, and we’re still fine. We escaped the most dangerous part without a scratch (the car ride there and back, not covid-19).

Yes, I know, corona is a real thing. It’s a dangerous real thing. So is driving. Nearly 1.25 million people ​are killed in ​​car crashes each year. On average, that's 3,287 deaths a day. We still drive. We get in, buckle up, obey the rules, and drive. When we’re at a red light, we wait. But, when it turns green, we go. To just sit there is more dangerous than moving.

We stopped on China-red.  We studied the new kid in town called corona. We paused the world to watch it move. We may have overreacted…but, that’s okay, better safe than sorry. We really had no choice; we followed the advice of those WHO were supposedly in the know. Perhaps, they led us astray, perhaps they had/have a hidden agenda.

They’ll eventually be exposed.

We just know, it’s time to go. Time to get up, get out into the light and start living again. Come to find out…that’s the best medicine. The virus hates being exposed to light. It can’t stand the heat.

It’s certainly been a great teacher.

Crisis doesn’t create character it exposes it.

  

Creativity and ingenuity have surfaced to spectacular levels; like transforming socks, bras and scraps into facemasks to converting warehouses into hospitals.

Conversely, greed & fear, have reared their ugly heads. Folks gobble stimulus checks, complain it's not enough and hoard more toilet paper than could be used in two lifetimes.

Worst of all revealed, was the character of those who should have been leading. At a time when axes should’ve been replaced with rolled up sleeves and shovels…folks were fined and arrested for taking walks, playing catch with kids, cutting hair, doing nails, fishing, kayaking, going to church, going to work. Main stream media looked the other way and social media gurus censored the dissenters.

Behind these acts against freedom are the bared, bloody, rotted, fangs and filthy talons of those overreaching with lust for socialistic power.

Actually, this behind the scenes evil is nothing new. The only thing new, is today. This day. This moment. The rest is the same. It’s an old evil…but, it’s and older Good. Remember, only a third of the angels fell with lucifer. That means two out of three are good. 

The Truth is, greater are those that be for us, than those that be against us.

The Truth is, we can heal, we can win, we can live. The virus, the greed, the fear, the demonic-rat infested socialistic left, cannot not stand exposure…cannot live in light.

The Truth is, the choice is ours.

The trouble is, some good people, nice people, peace loving people, are asleep. They snooze with evil because they covet freebees. Let me lay on the couch, watch television, drink beer and get a check. They follow leftist leaders straight to socialism because they like lazy. They only hear out-of-context talking points and read agenda driven headlines, without studying to know the facts. They say, “Lord, Lord,” say good words, go to church, do good deeds, but stand with those who openly do evil and would vote for the devil simply because it starts with a, D. They’ve become so deceived that if Jesus showed up in Person and endorsed President Trump, they’d deny it was Him and crucify Christ all over again.

Apathy atrophies mind & soul. 

Bottomline is, we’ll battle the evil, until God sends them all to hell. We may never see a change in the hard left lies and leanings of folks like, Pelosi, Schiff and Schumer. 

But those sleeping souls in the middle, our family, neighbors and friends, can make all the difference between night and day. Those lukewarm deceived; if only they’d wake. They're the hardest to reach, because they think they're right...as they stand soundly on the left. 

Let's unite in prayer for their eyes to be opened. 

Just think if their eyes were opened, collectively we’d shine a sin and virus killing light so bright every demonic-rat in the world would scatter. 

As a kid I used to pray 

"Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep; 

If I shall die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take"

 Now, I just pray we wake...before we die.
