Executive Order: Remembering The Forgotten

The strength of family, power of prayer and the battles that rage against them.
Honored to have been part of a conference call yesterday regarding finding "forever homes."
Perhaps the most "forgotten" in our society are the 400,000 children in the foster care system. It breaks my heart to know that 20,000 young men and women "age out" of the system each year. That means, they enter the world without ever being accepted into a "forever family."
Perhaps one of the least acknowledged, but most important, promise made—promise kept actions by President Donald J. Trump is the behind the scenes battle for our beautiful, lonely, forgotten children.
This administration has been fighting for the "forgotten" since the day these words were spoken: "January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again. The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer."
Dear children, we remember you. You are loved. You are not forgotten. Ever.
Let’s pray:
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for being near the broken hearted and putting the lonely in families.
Thank You for making a way for all of us to be part of Your forever family.
Just as You became flesh to show us Your great love; these children need Jesus with skin. They need a flesh and blood family to live and laugh and love with.
We pray You’ll prosper this effort by putting Your executive order on the President’s executive order.
Help us all, dear Lord, as a nation, to find our place, in Your, forever family.
Amen.
